| 8682 Film Studies I |  | | Students view, analyze and interpret a range of contemporary American and foreign films from several thematic categories. They will enhance their existing film/video literacy through the acquisition of "literary" and cinematic terms and the study of the elements, structure and background of selected films. Students will also communicate an informed interpretation of film through critical reaction journals, formal movie reviews, the creation of a screenplay, and other verbal, written, and artistic activities.
